Detected People Results provides a quick view of all individuals identified by Smart Detection, including where they appear in the video, when they first show up, and how often they occur.
Appearance
Detected people are displayed in two locations:
- The People column on the Evidence Search page
- The People tab on the Evidence Details page
People Tab Details
Select any thumbnail in the People tab to isolate the image and view additional information, including:
- First time appeared in the video
- Timestamps of each occurrence in the video
A star icon represents the best representative image of the individual.
People Detected
Displays the total number of people detected in the video.
View All (People Tab)
The View All option allows you to view all detected person thumbnails in one view.
Sort Options
On the People tab, thumbnails can be sorted by:
- First Appearance
- Duration
People Timeline
All detected people appear along the video timeline.
- Click thumbnails in the timeline or People tab to highlight when a specific person was detected
- The number beside a thumbnail in the timeline indicates how many people were detected within that time segment
Zoom In / Out (Timeline)
A zoom slider is located in the lower-right corner under the People timeline.
- Zooming in reveals more detailed thumbnails within each segment
- Zooming out condenses the timeline view for broader navigation
