Windows Password

Windows Password Requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 20 characters long 
  • Must contain upper and lower-case letters
  • Must contain at least one number
  • Must contain at least one special character
  • Can include spaces
  • Cannot include any part of your name
  • Cannot include your job title or LCSO
  • Cannot include sequential or repetitive characters (eeeeee, 1234abcd)

SSO (Single Sign-On)

Single Sign-On (SSO) lets you use your Windows password for other apps. If you see SSO, Single Sign-On, Azure, or SAML, click it & sign in with your Windows password.


You will use SSO to access:

  • Your Laptop/Computer
  • Workday
  • XJail
  • Keeper
  • Fleetio
  • Verkada Pass
  • WebXtender
  • The LCSO Intranet Menu
  • Fresh Service (IT Support Portal)
  • Microsoft Applications (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
  • Axon Applications (Evidence.com, Axon Dashboard, Axon Upload XT)

The Intranet

The LCSO Intranet (intranet.lcso.org) provides links to agency websites. Always use the Intranet to access these sites. Do NOT search for them on Google/Bing.

To access the Intranet, you must be connected to the LCSO network. 

Desktops/Computers will connect through an ethernet cable in LCSO buildings.

Laptops must be connected to the network using Global Protect, our VPN (Virtual Private Network).
