Follow the steps below to archive camera footage in Verkada
1. Log into Verkada
- Access your Verkada Command platform using your credentials.
2. Find the Camera
- Locate the department where the camera is assigned.
- If there is a” >” next to a department name, click it to expand and view all cameras
- Click on the camera you need
3. Open the Camera Feed
- You will see thumbnail previews of camera feeds
- Click on the correct camera
- The video will open in a larger view
4. Review Footage
- Click on History
- Use calendar to find date and time of the incident.
- Click on the camera feed matching the date and time needed
5. Create Archive
- Find the start pointing of the clip you want
- Click the scissors icon in the lower right-hand corner of the video.
- Yellow timeline bar will appear.
- Drag the left side to the set start time
- Drag the right side to set the end time
- Click Create
- A confirmation popup ("Archive Initiated") will display.
5. Wait for Archive Completion
- Close the camera feed.

Select Archives from the left menu - Monitor the status until the archive is complete.
- Next, upload the footage to Axon Evidence
