Go to OpenSSL download site

Too sketchy for you? Do things the hard way then.

Download the latest release a bit down the page. EXE is easier in my experience.

Click next through the setup, defaults are fine.

Now you will want to set up an Environment Variable for easier use.

Click the Windows search bar and type 'Environment' it should be the first option to show up.

Open the Environment Variables section

Under the System Variables section there is an option for Path. Double Click dat

Click 'New' and paste this in there: C:\Program Files\OpenSSL-Win64\bin\

Click OK until all windows are closed.

You will know if this worked by opening powershell and entering openssl version. No Error = Good | Error = Bad
