PART 1 – Initial Login & InSight Search

Notice: Your account will need to be setup by IT from LCSO or Eustis PD. You will be provided a temporary password that must be changed after initial login.


Step 1: Open à http://10.10.0.17/InSight/client à Login with your temporary password

Step 2: Go to SETTINGS


Step 3: Open the Password sections, type your current password (the temporary one given to you,) enter & confirm your new password, click Save


Step 4: If you are currently logged into Spillman Flex, logout, then log back in before continuing.

Step 5: In the Message Center, open the Name Search tab



Step 6: Fill in the name below, check the InSight Names box to the right, and click enter.



Step 7: Returns can be found in the Message Center under the InSight Returns tab shown below.

 


PART 2 – How to set InSight to run a query automatically

InSight can be set to run a query automatically whenever the user searches a name, vehicle, or property

Step 1: In Spillman Mobile and navigate to File à Options à Searching à Default Search Options 

Step 2: Select the following checkboxes:

  • InSight Names
  • InSight Property
  • InSight Vehicles

Click Apply and OK


Step 3: Close all Spillman windows and log back in. 


PART 3 – Notable Mentions

Eustis PD has utilized the warrants table in their Spillman Database to Flag individuals for Trespass Notices.

A subject queried through INSIGHT may show a red flag of Wanted Person and may appear similarly below. Please confirm warrant information through your normal resources.
