Under most circumstances, each division (Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, Corrections Operations) will take care of their own Change of Status forms.
Sometimes, however, it is necessary to help out another administrator with completing a Change of Status (they are on vacation, unavailable, etc.)
To make this possible, the primary Change of Status administrators have had their DocuSign documents mutually shared with each other. This allows you to open up and take action on documents that would normally be assigned to them, when needed.
To access another administrator’s shared documents:
- Sign in to DocuSign and open your document Inbox by clicking the ‘Manage’ tab.
- Click on the ‘Shared Envelopes’ button, to access another person’s documents which have been shared with you.
- This will open a prompt to select which person’s documents you need to access.
If you do not see the person whose documents you need to access, please contact IT.
- The document you now see listed are the shared documents in the Inbox of the selected individual. You can perform any actions on these document(s) which that person would have been able to perform.*
- To go back to your own documents, click on the ‘Return to my envelopes’ link at the top of the page.
*DISCLAIMER: Acting on a shared document (such as signing or filling form fields) is still done using your own name. You are not signing the other person’s name on their behalf, you are taking actions under your own account that would normally have been taken by that other person. Please utilize appropriately.
